‘We Weave’ At The Red Hearth

This was a an introduction to weaving using a simple project as part of a two week festival for women at Sladebank woods. A year and a day later I was back under the woodland canopy where ‘Bonds, Braids and Belonging’ was born. There was a lovely group of women, some weaving for the first time and some returning after years of life. These are the beautiful results but you cannot see are the threads of good converstaion, storytellling and kindness and listening. There will be another of these to come next month.
